artistic director Joseph swensen (USA) violin/ conducting

Considered one of the world's most important violin virtuosos, Swensen is also Visiting Professor at the Royal Conservatoire in Glasgow, Scotland. He studied at the Juilliard School with Dorothy DeLay, Robert Mann and Isaac Stern. We are very proud to have him as Artistic Director.

Flemming Patrick Andersen (DK) violin

Studied at Hartt School of Music, Hartford, USA with Erich Rosenblith and at The Royal Conservatory in Antwerp, Belgium with Jerrold Rubehstein. Further studies with Aaron Rosand. Member of The Royal Danish Orchestra and violinteacher at Vordingborg Music Academy.

berit Johansen tange (DK) pianist

Studied with Anne Øland at The Royal Danish Conservatory, Copenhagen, where she herself has been working as accompanist since 2002. Berit has performed as soloist and chamber musician in many places around the world and has recorded CD's for Dacapo Records.

Gert von Bülow (DK) cello

One of Europe's leading cellists and teachers. Studied with Bløndal Bengtsson, Piatigorsky and Fournier. Gert has performed all over the world and recorded a large variety of cello repertoire. Former teacher at the conservatories in Copenhagen and Stockholm, since 1995 Professor at Hochschule für Music in Rostock, Germany.

Mo Yi (Ch) violin

Born in Wuhan, China. Studied with Professor Lin Yaoji in Peking and Professor Nora chastain in Germany. Prizewinner in several international competitions. Mo Yi is Professor at The Royal Academy of Music in Århus and Professor at Universität der Künste Berlin.


Mette Hanskov (DK) doublebass

Diploma from Musikhochschule in Vienna. Principal doublebass at The Royal Danish Orchestra and teacher at Det Fynske Musikkonservatorium. Mette is an excellent conductor and has conducted the youth orchestra “Spring Strings” since 2003.


David Bogorad (DK/GR) viola

Bachelor from Oberlin Conservatory in the class of Milan Vitek. Leader of the 2. Violingroup in Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra. David is also an outstanding viola player and member of “The New Greek String Quartet”.
  jesper rudloff   

Jesper Rudloff (DK) violin

Studied at The Royal Danish Conservatory in Copenhagen. Additional studies in London. Teacher at Hillerød and Ølstykke Music Academies.
